Gregor Abel joins the @WaspsHallofFame. The school teacher played for & managed The Wasps. In season 1988/89 the Recreation Park side reached the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup & achieved promotion to the First Division under his guidance. youtu.be/yuwpegT-d0w

Terry Christie is inducted into the @WaspsHallOfFame. Known as 'The Duffle' by Alloa Ath. fans for his trademark Duffle coat, which he borrowed from son Max, who also played for The Wasps. Christie won the Challenge Cup in 1999 & gained promotion to the 1st Division twice.

James 'Jock' Hepburn. Born in Alloa, c.1860.. Played left back for The Wasps' & went on to be club treasurer & secretary . Capped for Scotland in 1891 v Wales. Remains Alloa Athleic's only capped player at Scotland senior national level. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jock_Hepb…

Craig Valentine, known as 'Captain Courageous' by Wasps fans for 'never say die' attitude, fighting spirit & will to win. Captained Alloa Athletic to a Stirlingshire Cup win (96/97), Third Division title (97/98), Challenge Cup win (98/99) & promotion to the First Division.

Today's addition to The Wasps Hall Of Fame is Alexander 'Alex' Totten. Alex Totten played 52 games for The Wasps between 1973 & 1978. Totten managed The Wasps from 1980 - 1982 winning the Stirlingshire Cup & promotion to the First Division, The Wasps subsequently finishing 6th.

Thomas 'Tommy' Hutchison is the third Wasps great to join The Wasps Hall of Fame. Signed for Alloa Athletic by Archie McPherson in 1965. Sold to Blackpool in 1968 for approx £10,000. Played for Scotland & scored both goals in a 1-1 draw in the 1981 FA Cup Final.

Wasps Legend, John White joins The Wasps Hall of Fame. Signed by 'Jerry' Kerr in 1955, scored 26 goals in 68 League games for The Wasps. Sold to Falkirk in 1958 for £3,300 and reportedly, a crate of Whisky. went on to play for Tottenham Hotspur and Scotland.

The first inductee to The Wasps Hall of fame is 'Greatest Ever Wasp, @WillieCrilley. Alloa Athletic's top goalscorer for a single season with 49 goals.
