We remain determined to return the Club to the highest level possible of professional rugby in a sustainable and resilient manner. Chris told me this evening that he is going to make a statement in the near future on the website.

Of the four local authorities approached by Chris, only one, Sevenoaks were interested in supporting the return of a premiership rugby club with enabling development.

Chris and the team then looked at all options to bring back Wasps having secured an option to play at Worcester. The main criteria in choosing a location was to secure enabling development from a local authority because as we all know rugby on its own does not make a profit.

Bear in mind he had already lost £800k from the wasps administration. He got the option but the owners didn’t pay him his money back so he had to exercise a debenture and ended up owning Worceter Warriors. All that in the name of Wasps - who should want 2 rugby clubs in admin.

Sixways for up to 5 years. To do that he ended up lending the owners £1.5m so they could purchase the lease on the stadium so that they could then sign the option for Wasps. He lent that money in good faith and on behalf of Wasps.

that is loss making. Last night he made comments to The Worcesters Supporters club which I deemed were unfair and lacked accuracy . I explained on a private text that Chris entered negotiations with the then Worcester owners simply to sign an option for wasps to play at

I know he wants the best for our club in his own way but his negativity,inaccurate views and lack of understanding in this whole situation does not help you as fans or Chris and the team trying their utmost to bring our professional club back sustainably ina business environment
