We travel to Edmonton this Sunday morning for the next round of the Veterans London Cup against Continental 58. Not making it easy for us with these trips North of the river. #awaydays

Wasteels Vets 1st official game ended with a 5-3 win on pens versus a very tidy Sporting Bengal United in the London Vets Cup today. Having trailed for much of the game, our patience paid off with a late equaliser from JP Becci. #catenaccio

(5/5) We will continue as a club in some form next season (Vets) while we regroup and decide the next stage of this club's journey spanning 54 years. Forza Wasteels!

(4/5) As a club we have made a difficult decision to leave the @OBDSFL after 11 years. We started strongly winning Division 1 in our 1st year & after a couple of years in the Premier we fell through the leagues to division 3 where we managed to turn things around a bit.

An update from us in a few tweets. (1/5) Our 21/22 season was a story of inconsistency. On our day we could win against the best. On another it looked like we'd never played together. We finished clear of the relegation zone despite hovering close to it for most of the season.

To celebrate the life of the Founder and President of this great club we are organising a special event on Sunday 24th July 2022. Come and join us to honour the memory of a legend, Luigi Farnesi. @MondialfcG

We ended our season against @TSRangers in a way that has summed up our season. Inconsistent. Very poor first half being 3 nil down at half time. Very good second half and only just missing out on getting something from the game with it ending 3-2. Goals from @Rellzy_10 and Rob.

Points shared in our double game against @wooshunitedfc yesterday both ending 2 nil to either side. Fair reflection of how each team performed in the games. Goals from @ReisArias and @Marco_Marchini_. Points keep us pushing up the league. Last game of the season next Sunday.

A poor 5 nil loss 2 weeks back was followed with a return to form and a 3-1 win last Sunday against an organised @TheWarrenAFC, playing much more like we know we can. Goals from Rob, @Marco_Marchini_ and Archie. Last two Sundays left at Club Langley to finish on a high.

Another double last Sunday. 1st: 2-2. Failed to hold on to a 2-1 lead in the last few minutes having turned the game around from 1 nil down. Goals from @andrson72 & @Marco_Marchini_. 2nd: 1 nil loss. Missed many chances and the lack of subs told in the second half.
