Crazy it’s 2026 and Pokemon is finally going to make an MMO version of the game.

Pokémon Winds and Waves originally were planned to include lots of MMO-like features. The hotel lobby worked as like a pseudo MMO lobby with lots of players and raids were also planned to be scaled to many players. A lot of those concepts were scrapped as the game just got too ambitious and now Game Freak is developing a separate multi-region MMORPG to use them.

@WatashiDro Giveaway line shouldn’t be too bad, our line was about 100 people to the merch line’s thousand so plenty of the cards in supply
Watch out for the scalpers though, they were going crazy trying to buy out people’s cards for dirt and also cutting lines to snag extra product

Went to the DragonBall Pop Up in Jersey this past weekend, scored my chase card of the event!
Scalpers though are already ruining it 🙄 $100 for the non-foil?? The Set 1 gold foils aren’t even going for that much!

@EmperorBigD I think people assume you want the dub to never exist, when all you want is the dub to stick close to the original dialogue of the manga and Sub without taking as many liberties as the dub did.

This weird 'Does Geekdom hate dub fans?' from a small number of weirdos is silly and childish.
On the contrary, I respect them MORE than Funimation did because I feel they shouldn't have ever been treated with a dumbed down version and gotten the real story. What a crime!
