I spent years watching movies from the recliner. The front three rows changed that. I don't hide from films or myself anymore. I feel everything, I cry like a baby :)

Love didn't just end when the voices rose. It ended when the body forgot the heart, when it forgot the way home.

The king of detailing @imvangasandeep. Was working on a piece on Animal's music and noticed this. Notice the two bedroom doors, one in pehle bhi main and in satranga . Their marriage didn't just end in the screaming but what followed, when he forgets the door of his own room

@SajinShrijith The he's feeling at home and he's at home, and all those anti war lines my god, I really wish they were more organically brought rather than just people conversing about them. But yeah 100% to Sriram's intentions and efforts

In the end, Ikkis may not match Hollywood’s ease or depth in handling war and anti-war narratives — but it is an honest and meaningful step forward. And for Indian war cinema, that itself matters

And then there’s the age. Twenty-one. Courage at twenty-one. Fuck, he really was just twenty-one. The film never romanticises that fact — it simply lets it sit with you, heavy and uncomfortable. And then there’s the age. Twenty-one. Courage at twenty-one.

Courage in Ikkis is not painful because of the loss, but because courage itself has a cost — paid by not just the one who displays it. My first movie of 2026- Ikkis by Sriram Raghavan and boy did i love it.

Lokah Chapter 1 - Just the intentions alone made the film so good that nothing else mattered Tourist Family - Good people finding the "goodness" on others Veera Dheera Sooran - One of the best action writing that gave goosebumps just for the subtle drama itself

Everyone feels a film differently yet somehow we share the same moment. Somewhere there, craft becomes art and the movie becomes cinema.
