@lsv Luis, I just want to thank you for your years of incredible cube content. I just started with vintage cube on Arena and had my first insane storm win. Nothing like hitting yawgmoth's will off of a booster tutor cast via shelldock to then brainfreeze someone out. You inspired it!

@perishneocon I'm the opposite of defeated. The arena cube is exactly what I've wanted, steep cost and all.

@WaterMJM Well idk what to tell you, but you seem to be self defeating, sitting down and treating magic as something that should take 4-5 hours might help you enjoy it more

@KoboldMusings @PleasantKenobi I'm just as happy if not happier playing powered cube sporadically on a clean client I know even if there is a chance I run out of their premium currency that ive yet to pay for.

@perishneocon @LunaGathering @PleasantKenobi Several reasons. Can't stand my local lgs(s) and their patrons. I can rarely commit to a solid 4-6 hours. On Arena you can pick it up and put it down at will. And lastly, I'm only interested in a powered/vintage cube, not some random cube with an unknown card list.

@WaterMJM @LunaGathering @PleasantKenobi Why not go to your local lgs and hang out and talk to people, there’s definitely 5 guys there who have 4 prebuilt cubes and really want to play it

@Mastu_Denton @PleasantKenobi So far I've been pretty successful after 5 drafts. We'll see. If that appreciably changes, ill just go back to my previous state of not ever playing this format. Not a big deal. But in the mean time, it has been highly worth it.

@LunaGathering @PleasantKenobi For me, this is "better". The alternative for me prior to it launching on Arena has been having to learn MTGO which I have an active aversion to, so in other words, no cubing at all.

@WaterMJM @PleasantKenobi We deserve better my friend :( other games would literally let people play prizeless Cube for free or at least for an amount that a beginner can farm for free in 1 day of gameplay

@Mastu_Denton @PleasantKenobi I have attempted MTGO enough to have a solid disdain for using it. As long as I'm still able to cube for free (via continued success) on Arena, I'll never pick up that relic MTGO again.

@MTGO_Economics @fireshoes Yeah, but there is a massive base who refuses to learn MTGO (which is valid imo). This event has been great for those of us who finally have an opportunity to play this format.

Got another one but I think I'm off this event. Prize structure is worse than MTGO's and the "cube prize packs" are unexciting. If you're not into grinding gold, your money seems better spent on mtgo's vintage cube. Still looking forward to 17lands data though. @fireshoes

@PleasantKenobi I agree that the price is steep, but it has been worth it for me personally. I have watched hundreds of hours of vintage cube content for many years and have never once drafted it myself because MTGO has too much of a learning curve. This allowed me to finally shuffle it up.

The entry cost for Powered Cube on Arena is fucking absurd. £10 for a phantom draft with shit prizes. Cube deserves better.

@r1ntezuka @OrlandoMagic Absolutely not. Several of the greatest pen tricks and highlights ever are attributed to LSV. Very unique and talented player.

@OrlandoMagic Replace LSV with either Reid or Andrea and it’s an acceptable list.

@SaffronOlive It has taken every game I played against it from me being in a winning position, to immediately losing single handedly. It is the number one game changer in the set (along with ureni and the wrath that draws cards)

The more I play with new Elspeth, the more convinced I become it's busted. Having an Anointed Procession that does something the turn you play it is pretty wild.

Turn 3 infinite mana combo deck? It has about a dozen ways to get infinite mana with either Faeburrow Elder or Incubation druid equipped with gauntlets of light. Finale of devastation lets you get any of the combo pieces and is a wincon! @rileyquarytower @ToffelMTG @Jackomatrus
