A classic cold and rainy Seattle day couldn’t stop the community from showing up this morning! 🌧️☕️ We are incredibly proud to see the Grand Opening of the new Boon Boona Coffee at the Waterfront Park Overlook today. The place was absolutely packed, and the energy was perfect. For the last three years, we’ve been honored to tell the Boon Boona story on Back2Besa with @besagordon, as they have grown from a local favorite to a pillar of the community. Keeping her tradition alive, Besa Gordon was first in line to be customer number one—just like she has been for previous openings! Bell St between Elliott and 1st avenues has reopened with a new two-way bike lane and reconfigured vehicle access! Intermittent daytime closures will be in place as needed to install final elements into July.
