Rising household debt? Falling household savings? Elections in Bihar? Mr Trump and his tariffs? All of the above?

I hang my head in shame. This guy is a cheat, peddler of Pseudoscience & a fraud. Often gives gyaan that goes against Established Medical Wisdom acquired thro centuries of research. And AIIMS-D is India's greatest Medical Jewel. The higher the pedestal, greater the fall.🤦

In fact, I feel like I’ve harvested every last fruit, extracting every ounce of benefit from my previous efforts. I can no longer rely on the past to support me. It’s a clean slate—a time to prepare the soil and start planting anew. 2025

And yet in comparison to the past few years, this year has been the easiest. I have definitely worked the least hard this year. 2024 marked the year I truly reaped the rewards of all the seeds I had sown in the past.

2024 has been an incredibly year. On paper, quite a successful year for me, I wrote up a Master’s thesis, defended it and graduated. I moved again- initially just for a few months. Ended up deciding to stay. Started my PhD. Climbed a rock for the first time and tried out skiing.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of hype around quantum computing on this platform. Are those bots or humans? Either way, what I'm seeing is concerning. I want to provide an honest perspective on the current status quo, which is hopefully useful. Long story short, I do think a lot of exciting progress on QC will be made over the next few years. But I doubt those progress will be commercial applications.

At what point in your PhD do you start to feel like you know things and not feel like the least knowledgeable person in every room? ..asking for a friend
