Waukee Dance Team is the National Runner up at the UDA National Championships in Orlando. Congratulations ladies!

Last run together as one high school... and we couldn’t be more proud! Waukee is excited to announce we made school history for the third year in a row!! We are taking home 2nd place in Large Game Day, 3rd place in Small Pom, and 5th place in Small Jazz 💜

Six Waukee championship teams recognized at the Capitol this morning. Congrats Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys Swim, Boys Golf, Comp Cheer and Dance team!

For the 13th time in the last 14 years the Waukee Dance Team wins at least one category at the Iowa State Dance Championships. Girls win Contemporary, place second in HipHop and 3rd in Pom in large class. Also, Jordan Dawson wins Solo dance state title. Congratulations ladies!!

Dance team places 4th out of 50 of the top dance programs from across the country in the Pom category to record Waukee’s best ever finish at UDA Nationals!

Dancers have a great day at Midwest Regionals in Minneapolis. Varsity is 1st in Pom and Game Day, 2nd in Jazz, 3rd in HipHop. JV Gold wins 3 categories - Pom, HipHop and Jazz in the JV division. Varsity is on to Nationals in Orlando in 2 weeks. Congrats dancers and coaches!

Waukee Dance team wins the ISDTA State championship in the contemporary dance category. Also place second in Hiphop and 3rd in Pom categories. WDT has now won state titles in 11 of the last 12 years.
