@iainjennison @Ryan_27 @NEDerbyshireRam No one can account for injuries. We will never know if he would have been effective or not.
English

@dogavic You have to admire this picture and many others like it - just hope everyone behaved?
English

@iainjennison @Ryan_27 @NEDerbyshireRam Point agreed with - it’s always a crap shoot. Did we really think that Adams would be as valuable as he turned out to be?
English

@Ryan_27 @iainjennison @NEDerbyshireRam Take the majority rule here.- majority of these non league players are there for a reason.
Don’t underestimate the quality of 1) Premier League youngsters who need on field experience. ( Mount/Tamori/Wilson )
2) Experienced Championship level players.
English

@iainjennison @NEDerbyshireRam Agree, said it plenty before... I don't see why we don't get 3/4 non league players for next to nowt. If they're not up to it,vwe won't lose much and some league 1/2 club may even give us our money back (see Ben Pringle)
English

@mattdanaher Because every other club will be recruiting him ( or her) 😂😂😂
English

@thecudworths @dcfccollection Storer -to young
Cox-emigrated
Warne- thank goodness for Rams tv 👍
English

@dcfccollection I don't suppose there's too many of us left that have seen us in all of those six seasons!
English

@KevinOxford So true Kevin- I missed all the Eighties & Nineties success and failure, because technology was in the development process. Thank goodness for the ‘Green Un’ - three weeks to deliver, but great reading.

Questions are already being asked if Paul Warne is the man to take us further, unbelievable
what I would say is that these lot couldn’t do it so let’s give him a chance to do it his way.
Nigel Clough: 2009-2013
Steve McClaren: 2013-2015
Paul Clement: 2015-2016
Darren Wassall: 2016
Nigel Pearson: 2016
Steve McClaren: 2016-2017
Gary Rowett: 2017-2018
Frank Lampard: 2018-2019
Phillip Cocu: 2019-2020
Wayne Rooney: 2021-2022
Liam Rosenior (Interim): 2022
All failed, and they had some big budgets and some good players apart from Nigel who had to rebuild and was very underestimated in what he did.
English

@NEDerbyshireRam @Derbydan84 @phillowe1 once fans get a taste of honey, they want more. You can say slowly build etc. but the game is about here and now. Instant gratification is required because next October, (whether we are high or low in the Championship) no one will give this promotion a thought.
English

@Derbydan84 @WayneJentas @phillowe1 Build again and be competitive can’t ask for more any higher than mid tables a bonus.
But you know Dcfc fans will expect more
East Midlands, England 🇬🇧 English

@phillowe1 My favourite ‘personal time’
Frank Lampard: 2018-2019
Phillip Cocu: 2019-2020
A trip to Wembley, and a preseason visit to IMG in Florida😂😂😂😂

As with any manager who has had the balls to take up the reigns at this great club the job has aged him.
He has taken so much criticism and questioning that his stress levels must have been off the board, but somehow he has remained dignified and maintained a positive outlook, he admits when things are not perfect, he shuns the publicity and the headlines, to see him hiding from the cameras yesterday allowing the players to take the plaudits and talking of sitting in his chair with his dog and a cuppa and finally being able to relax shows where he is at, quietly getting on with things.
I posted these words by Rudyard Kipling yesterday for DC but on reflection I think that Warney could have been sat in front of Rudyard as he read them to him.
For today and forever Paul Warne you are an honorary man of Derby.
Thank you 🙏
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
