This past weekend #MiramarPD Captain Mike Yepez participated in Mayor Wayne Messam’s Health & Fitness 5K Run. Captain Yepez ran the full course, in uniform, with 18-20 pounds of gear - as he has does in previous years. He does this to promote officer wellness and fitness. Captain Yepez has received numerous accolades and awards for his physical fitness. Most notably he achieved numerous FBI National Academy awards for his exemplary performance in cycling, weightlifting, rowing, running, push-ups, sit-ups, and skiing. #ServingOurCommunity #Fitness #Wellness
