One of the fascinating things about the parity era as it may be about to end are the squandered opportunities. Wolves in 24. Suns in 21 and 22. Philly with that 3-2 lead over Boston in 23. These brief yet golden opportunities that slipped through their fingers.

Given how the Thunder have ascended into dynastic talks, and now the Spurs are ahead of schedule, the Wolves should kind of regret not taking advantage of the open West bracket in 2024 by squeaking out a Finals appearance even though the Rudy/Ant era has been successful

i was mega wrong on the stephon castle eval, but my god, has he developed so much athletically. his explosiveness and flexibility are leagues above the college tape ridiculously awesome player

i've been warming up more and more to stephon castle as a pretty high pick this year, he could be an overwhelming strength creator even without great burst just need to get that 3pt volume up and we're cooking with gas

As for the Wolves, their roster is at crossroads. I’d have been curious to see this series fully healthy, but B2B2B shots at a CF and rising come April is a blessing and a curse. The latter coming from when they see either a bad matchup / championship quality team

I don't think one player impacts Offensive Rating the way you think it does. Explain how Kobe/LA did this. 3 years, 3 very different Kobe performances, and ORtg was basically static.
