My dream of building a little ranch in Hawaii- Realized. It's not for everyone, but it was my dream, and I held on to it for decades. It was not easy. I literally started trading with $500 to my name. Years of ups and downs in investing, trading, business and whatever it took to make it happen. I think many would not have wanted the life I had leading up to this- the blood, sweat and tears- but to be honest, I loved the journey and most don't realize how much it snowballs from small beginnings. Growing up in Hawaii, you inherently know how hard it is to buy land. Many years of government money printing and corruption have pushed dreams like these out of the hands of most native Hawaiians and locals alike and into the hands of wealthy outsiders. But there are still slivers left for those who respect this land and love this land. Hold on to that dream, whatever it is. It starts as an electrical signal between a synapse, turns into a fire within you that burns no matter how dark things get, and finally, it turns into physical reality.

I've never used indicators, always just focused on price and volume. Lately I've been experimenting with even removing volume from some of my decisions and just focusing on price & I'm actually surprised how there's been no negative impact. I'm realizing that for me now I can kind of just almost focus on price completely. The only times where I actually feel an advantage with volume now is either: 1. If the chart is incredibly tight and volume is very very low (unusually low) 2. If the stock gaps higher on either its highest volume ever or highest volume in a year But outside of these extremes I'm actually starting to realize volume doesn't add any extra value for me.
