@genglehends Not gonna argue but isn't Samsung's right bought by KSV and later rebranded to GENG? I just woke up to this argument but all these years I always believes that GENG and Samsung was a 2 different team, also heard that Samsung's trophy is at T1 base. (Idk why)

@Zackktually @keshdelight @leanbeanmaxine It depends sometimes it will tighten up, especially if the weight is lost gradually over time, or if you weren’t fat for very long. Not to mention genetics as the most unpredictable factor.

@keshdelight @leanbeanmaxine That's not how excess skin works, buddy. Most people who go from fat to fit have to have a surgery to have it removed because it doesn't just tighten back up.

@JKeane_12 @kokokokokokoaa @purplepingers No intelligent person genuinely believes in trickle down economics. But we arent talking about that. We are talking about direct wealth distribution. On the topic of wanting to do better, people should be doing better, if you are working harder you should be playing hard.

I actually beg to differ. I think the vast majority ARE doing it for themselves… I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s ‘personal greed’, but I WOULD say it comes from the very natural feeling that everyone feels they should be doing better than they are. They believe that IF billionaires wealth was distributed it would trickle down to them and their lives. (As well as have the side benefit of others in their countries). The issue remains, what we have learned from capitalism (and socialism to be fair) is that trickle-down economics NEVER WORKS. Whether the holder is the government or individuals, the money never reaches those that need it!

@kokokokokokoaa @JKeane_12 @purplepingers Yea the problem with moralism is that it’s subjected to moral dilemmas. The vast majority of people who think billionaires wealth should be redistributed aren’t doing it out personal greed. So now it’s alleviating the suffering of others vs keeping the money u earned.

@JKeane_12 @purplepingers Moralism is not a bad thing. After all the entire argument you are in favour of is based on moralism, since you believe the people are entitled to the wealth they’ve accumulated, even at the expense of others.

@purplepingers Good discussion. “Billionaires are useless” is just not a good argument though. And it’s intentionally dehumanising. Talking about “the kids in cobalt mines in Africa” is also a moralism argument.

@nonregemesse @FactsMatterNow That might make sense to do in first glance but because it’s impossible for a woman to win “best male actor” you can calculate porportions with percentage of black people in America, since the split between men and women is roughly 50/50 anyways.

@TomVerquitas123 It’s almost like they were calling them animals because they were different than them… People in every region will do different things to survive. Some people don’t have to get creative to survive because they live in areas with fertile land and abundant resources.

@realvrios_ @Annunakirapist Keep in mind many of said Mediterraneans thought most Europeans were animals. Ask an Ancient Greek or Roman why they thought of nords, celts or Germans.

@goatedlebron @realvrios_ @Annunakirapist The original etymology of a word has little to do with how it’s actually used, especially in this scenario. The Greeks even though many Hellenic people were barbaric. They literally thought Tracians, who weren’t Greek but still had interacted and become hellenized, were barbaric

@Wayward_Sword @realvrios_ @Annunakirapist “Barbaros” originally meant non Greek speaker. Greek writers used it broadly for many groups. For example, Herodotus describes foreign customs using the term, and later Roman authors labeled various non Roman peoples “barbarians.” It was cultural/linguistic, not ethnic only.

It's so funny that these people who fawn over "white culture" are always Amerimutts using a generic racial term to include themselves and feel part of a culture that isn't theirs. A European would never talk about general white culture, but always about their national culture (English, French, Italian, Swedish, etc.).

@UrMaJStee @realvrios_ @Annunakirapist Pan European ism and other continental ideations of a united identity are quite ridiculous. Ask a French person what he thinks of Spanish culture. Or a Nigerian what he thinks of Ghanian culture. Korean with Japan?

@Wayward_Sword @realvrios_ @Annunakirapist False. Greek/ Roman writers described many non Greco Roman peoples as “barbarian,” including Persians, Egyptians, Carthaginians, Scythians, and others. The term was cultural, not purely racial, and was applied broadly to outsiders, not just northern Europeans.

Europeans defining white culture: Civilizational basis on Mediterranean nations such as mynoans, hellenes, and latins including neolithic celtic-germanic peoples. United over a common ethnic ancestry under the EHG, Yamnaya and Anatalian Farmers. Amerimutts defining white culture: "muuuh water all u see its evrythin, muuh [add some industrial capitalism ass argument"]
