CC Attorney here. Trust me when I say I've had over 3 years to get creative with "buyouts," "clawbacks," and other measures tied to performing in bowl games 🫡 Last year? We were able to claw back NIL funds from several players. So, not sure what other folks are doing with their contracts, but the CC's are drafted in such a way to protect funds and incentivize bowl participation 🤗 Feel free to tweet, subtweet, and retweet this a million times. If other Collectives haven't figured it out, maybe they need a better attorney 🤷‍♂️

@GregWWoods I get the school is keeping specific NIL payouts private for competitive reasons, but I wish we could know how far off we are from reaching our vague goals. It's like having a gofundme with a ~$7 million goal, but the current funding (school + donations) is hidden.

WSU interim AD Jon Haarlow says Kirby Moore will have an assistant coach salary pool of $4.5M, same as Jimmy Rogers had. Also says the team needs about $7M in NIL "to be competitive in the top of the new Pac-12."

WSU WR Tony Freeman and DT Mike Sandjo are expected to enter the transfer portal, source confirms. 247Sports & On3 first. Freeman is expected to play in the Idaho Potato Bowl, per source, but Sandjo is not. Ninth and 10th Cougars to make plans for the portal.

My local ABC has the LA Bowl on without any broadcast audio (no announcers), only actual game sounds, I don't think they realize it, but OMG this is such a superior viewing experience . This should be an option for every game.
