We always talk about Beeple’s Everydays that sold for $69Mn in an auction 5yrs ago but we never talk about the guy who bought it Meet Vignesh Sundaresan > better known in CT as @metakovan > Indian blockchain entrepreneur & crypto investor > built Padimai, art & tech studio in SG What is Padimai? > art studio based in SG that focuses on art + tech + blockchain > features VR art & immersive digital displays > Beeple’s Everydays: the First 5000 Steps is displayed here > Padimai was opened in Nov 2025 Before Padimai, he tried to build these: > Metapurse, an NFT fund that bought collections from well known artists like Beeple and Pak > B20 token that backed Beeple NFTs > both of which are afterthought after NFT market crashed How did he become rich? > like most whales, he’s early into crypto, particularly ETH > has a hand in building Bitaccess > does angel investing with his money This is the man responsible for ushering the NFT bull run of 2021/22 5 years later, he still believes in digital art & NFTs And going back to the NFT he bought for $69Mn, he said he has no plans of ever selling it as he believes that the true value appreciation of NFTs lies years, decades even, from now
