[WeFlipZone Digital Project Update 🐞]
Last sunday marked the end of the first week tracking. The team achieved 2,014 song downloads though the process wrapped up on monday night.
For your information, our download team faced issues making payments for flac song downloads. Only a few 🐞 accounts managed to make payments at first. This happened because the payment method we were using got blocked after the payment company detected overseas transactions. However, we did not stop the downloads immediately. One of the volunteer members was still able to make payments using another method.
On the other hands, we asked @floweroftheast to help us by being our additional support for payment, but the same problem still occurred. However, @floweroftheast also helped us with other matters and we truly appreciate this kindness! Many thanks as well to @KFPims1stream for helping us gather some korean weflip to download flac and mp3.
While the korean weflip download team had already started the flac download, we found another method that allows the international weflip download team to mass download mp3 as well. However, this method costs 3.4 times the initial plan’s price. Luckily, we have some extra backup funds and found someone who can take swift action to transfer a large amount of funds to us. Therefore, both the korean and international download teams can proceed in parallel.
Big thanks to the korean download team and the international download team for being with us, even though we started a bit later than we should have. Without you, our digital project wouldn’t have been successful.
We would like to announce that the WeFlipZone digital project for My First Flip has come to an end, and we are no longer accepting any donations at the moment. We will be back with additional updates that haven’t yet been shared and we will compile the transparency report as well.
