Arirang Comeback: Do This, Not That (Playlist Edition) This comeback we won’t be dropping a strict playlist “template” or telling you to follow some complicated streaming system. Those usually lead to repetitive patterns and burnout. It isn’t sustainable. What I will share is some simple guidance on creating and using playlists safely. I just want to encourage you to stream in a way that works for you that you can sustain because THAT helps the charts more than anything else. Press play, stream safe, have fun. I am LOVING everything that is happening with BTS in Mexico! I’m not saying too much, I’m just enjoying seeing photos and clips of them having a good time. And seeing Mexico really embrace them as the icons they are. As ARMY, these are great moments to see!

Mexico is so excited for BTS and I just…Love this for them (Mexico and BTS) I really, really do. They are giving a masterclass on how to welcome BTS and represent. These shows are going to be on FYA tonight. I will be watching in 144 pixels. 😁

@Dani_Iuliana Ya’ll will be fine. I have faith! The one thing all those stops have in common is that they showed up! That’s it…when given the chance, they showed up. So, that’s all you have to do. Idk what chances you will have in Europe…but whatever it is…show up and you will be ok!

I wish everyone in that Mexico audience could see BTS perform. From the bottom of my soul, I wish that for all of you. I know it isn’t easy getting BTS tickets…but your time will come. At some point, this moment will come full circle for you. BTS won’t forget this.

I’m gonna say this once and move on: It’s never been easier to fake “fame” with bought streams, followers, paid for or bought appearances at guaranteed-audience events as it is today. That’s because social media is nameless and faceless and your influence is based on the cloud, not reality. There was a time when impact was measured by real people showing up for YOU. Your music. Your presence. Now? A lot of “popularity” is just attaching yourself to spaces that already have attention. Like festivals and other well marketed “events”. But true icons don’t chase relevance. They create it. The real legends are the ones people wait for, talk about, and show up for without being forced. MJ barely attended anything…and still had celebrities acting like fans when he appeared. Legends don’t chase. They exist. Remember that.

I can NOT get over this…you don’t understand…in college I owned Michael Jackson’s History on VHS…Volume 1 and Volume 2!! And I played those movies at LEAST 2x per month!!! I wore out the VHS and had to upgrade to DVD! I NEVER thought I would see anything like that again once he passed. This is a full circle moment for me with the Michael movie out and seeing this from BTS! 😭

All I know is…I’m not a young person and I have been around this industry for a LOOOONG time… and there is only ONE artist I know of who could pull these types of crowds outside their home country… And his name was Michael. This is legend status. Please, PLEASE know this is unprecedented. This is who you stan, ARMY. This is our family.

I am blown away by this!!! And so happy BTS enjoyed this moment and that they experienced this. Thank you, MX ARMY for showing up for the guys and giving them this special memory. I know you will show out at the concerts this week!!!

Ok…I was sooo tired afterTampa Day 1, I couldn’t say much. We sang and danced and jumped wherever we can. The concert was amazing and so energetic. If you have any chance to see them live…take it. My top observations: ARMY is beautiful. ARMY is more diverse NOW than I have ever seen before. BTS are performing in their element, they are happy, relaxed and enjoying it 100%. The stage and setup is INSANE…in a good way. I did not take many photos until the end and a few outside before the show. Here are a few! 💜

Well…that’s the thing. It’s not as simple as a dollar amount. “Cost” could be everything from time, favors, performances, supplementary benefits, etc. The biggest mistake you can make is comparing one artists to another when it comes to promotions. Artists decide what they’re willing to sacrifice to have certain benefits. And every artist is very different. The best thing you can do is support from the position of a fan and leave those decisions to the artist.

@WeStreamBTS I'm genuinely curious how much radio play costs bc I was checking kiis fm last week and c0rt1s go was playing realllly often. Almost as much as they play s0mbr. Very interesting that some 875 members opted/paid for radio play while most did not.

I’ve been kinda quiet about timeline stuff this comeback, but I need to say this real quick. ARMY, you’re doing GOOD. Supporting smart, staying positive…keep that energy. It matters. Also…if you don’t understand the US music industry, please look into it. Playlisting, radio, promo, none of it is “free.” Labels front it, but it gets recouped, so artists pay in the end. That’s why you’ve seen artists with Grammys + millions sold still go broke. Listen to artists when they speak on this, they’ve BEEN telling us how it works. Know the artists that you stan and understand their perspective because believe me, they have definitely spoken about it. Artists make the decisions about what they are willing to trade for certain promotions and yes, it is ALWAYS a trade off. You give something to get something. So as fans, our role is to support…not control or demand. I’m grateful for the tools BTS gave us this comeback, and I’ll keep supporting with what we have. 💜
