Because Jonathan and Dio is rather obvious, rich vs poor, fire vs ice, gentleman vs womanizer, etc... But what DOES Jotaro have that really countervails with DIO as a person?

I get the feeling kids don't really like the story because it's too complicated for them (my own kids barely understand it).
That said, they absolutely love the action scenes and have watched the Exdream battle scenes over and over again
The other day, I saw some kids playing spy with Zeztz DX toys at the supermarket, so I think even kids also feel how cool Zeztz is.
So, while opinions on Zeztz are divided, I think it strikes a good balance between children and adults, as well as between domestic and international reception. I hope they’ll build on this experience and do their best to promote themselves overseas in the future :)

To be honest, Zeztz isn’t exactly a huge hit in Japan. Opinions on the story are divided, and I get the sense that the negative reactions slightly outnumber the positive ones. Up until Case 25, the showa's ratings were even lower than they are now. While sales of Dualmare Capsem and Exdreamrise Capsem are strong, the rest haven’t done so well. However, sales of Zeztz Driver have been on the rise lately, so I’m hopeful.

@MayaSimp26 @kotetsutoysjp I like Zeztz, its the first rider show since Saber that I actually wanted to watch weekly. But it's got a lot of problems plot wise, especially with Nox and the Lords.

@TheEgoStar @kotetsutoysjp Alive gashapons that were also pretty intertwined with the plot and characters themselves. The Capsules in Zeztz don't take advantage of the fact that they are prisons for Nightmares.

@ShinFlameSubs It's probably cause Rider having these kind of fluctuating sales from season to season has become the norm. With Infinity, which is supposed to be the W/01 for this new franchise, not doing hot sales wise is probably a lot more worrying.
