@joshsafc_ Agreed, couple of instances where he made a great run and had a decent ball been played in, he’d have been clean through on goal…I think I was just as frustrated as the Ukrainians will have been 🤣

Well there we have it, Jobe is off… In case you missed it, here’s my thoughts on how #SAFC should replace him 👇

- THE VERDICT - Nmecha regularly gets linked with the likes of Man UTD, and Jobe would be a pretty seamless replacement… Alternatively, I think if Jobe starts alongside Nmecha, instead of Sabitzer, it would make for one of the most dominant midfield pairings in the #Bundesliga

- EMRE CAN - The #BVB captain played at centre back for large parts of the 24/25 season… The acquisition of Jobe in midfield provides enough depth for Can to make a permanent move into defence, possibly starting ahead of Sule on the right side of the back 3…

@NinjaScene92 If they do bring someone in to compete for that spot at LCB, they will definitely need to be mobile and confident on the ball. O’nien contributes a lot when it comes to ball progression and if he does come out the side he needs to be replaced by someone who can do the same

@WearsideAnalyst This is true I do like his successful take-ons though would insinuate that he is quite mobile for a big lad

#SAFC have reportedly bid for Modibo Sagnan at Montpellier... Left footed CB, so we can assume he would provide depth and competition at LCB... He is a taller, more physical defender compared to O'nien. He maintains good passing accuracy for both long and short distribution👀

@NinjaScene92 They win around the same on average, O’nien won 1.65 per 90 last season, Sagnan narrowly ahead with 1.7 per 90 However, O’nien maintained a much higher win rate at 61%, Sagnan’s win rate was 48.8%. Worth noting that Sagnan was playing at a higher level obviously

@WearsideAnalyst Taller yet wins less aerial duels than o'nien which is a worrying statistic
