Knowing that the assisted dying bill failed is, for me, one of the most important outcomes yesterday. This was pushed by Labour MP Kim Leadbeater, and I believe it raised deeply serious concerns for our elderly, our vulnerable and those struggling with mental health. When you look at the history of the Fabian movement and its links to Labour thinking, there are long standing concerns around social engineering, state control and the value placed on people who are no longer seen as economically useful. That is why this bill worried me so much. Assisted dying risks becoming assisted eugenics if the wrong people are given the power to decide whose life is worth continuing. Pensioners, the mentally unwell and vulnerable are not a burden. They need care, support and protection, not a state backed route to death. Kim Leadbeater’s evil bill was dangerous, and I am glad it failed. The Labour Party should be ashamed.

The Falkland Islands are British…no matter what Donald Trump says. We must defend British Sovereign territory, and to do that we must back our armed forces. Only the Conservatives have a plan to reinstate the two child benefit, and use the savings to fund our military.

The UK IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT bears direct responsibility for the rapes and tragic deaths on our streets. Those in charge must face accountability! Bas Javid: Immigration Enforcement as Director General since November 2023, overseeing deportations and compliance. Marc Owen: Director for Visa, Status and Information Services, managing entry applications, including high-risk cases. Eddy Montgomery: Director for Enforcement, Compliance and Crime since September 2020, tackling immigration-related crimes. Shabana Mahmood: The new Secretary of State for the Home Department since September 5, 2025, now holds the top spot for immigration oversight, succeeding Yvette Cooper. Yvette Cooper: Moved to Foreign Secretary on September 5, 2025, no longer accountable for Home Office actions during her prior tenure. Sir Matthew Rycroft: Permanent Secretary, still shaping policy with a focus on diversity over deportation. These leaders must answer for the failures that endanger our communities!
