I know it’s just games but achievements that represent objective feats feel more rewarding than participation trophies. If achievements don’t matter then why is it important to hand them out? Why not just say “good job!” on-screen or install a “win all trophies” button instead?

This review knocked us out of Overwhelmingly Positive but I don't care because I'll die on this hill no matter how much time passes. Side note: They didn't get all the achievements

@DirtyBeastGames And I don’t say that with any ill will toward how anyone chooses to play, btw.
But I know for sure gamers that benefit from assists are much more thankful and appreciative than those who act like they’re owed something exclusively.

@DirtyBeastGames In all seriousness I have a win all trophies button too lmao, you can just edit your save file and it’ll give them all to you on load.
The only people affected by all this are the ones with no impulse control. For them, complaining about it is easier than dealing with that truth

If you're curious about our stance: Achievements in Windswept unlock even if you're using assists - grinders will still grind without assists because they love challenges, I'm literally one of them.

@WeatherFell @KupoGames I agree with your take on assists but I think Matt is more wise, your 1st sentence to explain the reasoning feels enough and people can judge while reading the review & your comment. The 2nd sentence feels like owning someone on twitter and risk leading to more negative stuff.
