@BSCNews @PiCoreTeam Protocol 23 to protocol 26 by June 22. Five milestones in ten weeks on a live mainnet with 18M verified users underneath it, the pace this quarter is different from anything @PiCoreTeam has shipped before!!
English

PI MAINNET COMPLETES PROTOCOL 22 UPGRADE, PROTOCOL 23 SMART CONTRACTS DUE MAY 11
The Pi Network mainnet has successfully upgraded to Protocol 22, per @PiCoreTeam. Node operators with non-compliant systems were disconnected after the April 27 hard deadline.
Protocol 22 is the foundation for Protocol 23, scheduled for May 11, which introduces full smart contract functionality on Pi Mainnet for the first time. The upgrade window now extends through Protocol 26 by June 22, packing five major milestones into a 10-week run.
Roughly 10 billion pi-network:native has migrated to Mainnet so far, with around 6 billion still locked. Active node count sits at approximately 421,000 against an 18 million KYC-verified user base.
Co-founders Nicolas Kokkalis and Chengdiao Fan will be present at Consensus 2026 in Miami next week.
English

@PiCoreTeam Opening the smart contract code to public audit before mainnet is exactly the kind of transparency that separates projects that are confident in what they built from ones that are not..
English

To open the Testnet subscription smart contract to technical review and community feedback, Pi has released the second Pi Request for Comment (PiRC2).
Developers are encouraged to try integrating subscriptions in their own apps, review the subscription contract design, and test for bugs or edge cases, if any.

@PiCoreTeam The "without doxing yourself" part is where most solutions fall apart tbh. Governments want ID checks, platforms want data. Pi figured out how to do neither and still know you are real. That is the hard version of the problem and they solved it, period...
English

Pi is tackling one of the most urgent problems in the AI era: proving real human identity online.
Pi Founder Nicolas Kokkalis will speak on a panel at Consensus 2026 on Thursday, May 7, from 10:15-10:45 AM EDT at the Convergence Stage.
The session, “How to Prove You're Human in an AI World (Without Doxing Yourself),” explores how the internet’s trust model is breaking as AI systems become capable of creating bots that can generate profiles and interact like real users.
At the core of the discussion is a simple challenge: how do you verify a real human online without exposing private identity data?
Want to know how? Join us in Miami on May 7th!
See you there!

English

@PiCoreTeam Just the word subscriptions being the first smart contract tells you everything about who this is being built for tbh

@Aptos @AptosLabs @sherryxiao @Cointelegraph The Aptos community understands what this unlocks and voted accordingly, it's the ecosystem recognising what serious adoption actually requires imo 👏👏👏
English

Your salary. Your treasury moves. Your trades. All public onchain—until now.
Confidential APT uses zero-knowledge proofs to encrypt balances & transfer amounts while keeping identities verifiable. Fully opt-in.

x402 gave agents a way to pay. APP gives them a way to do business.
@okx just published the Agent Payments Protocol (APP)—the first open standard for agent-to-agent commerce. Escrow, settlement, disputes. Built for every chain.
Aptos is proud to be a day-one partner!

@DecibelTrade @borntobry @MessariCrypto Imo the transparency angle is what makes Decibel actually interesting for institutions, not just fast, fully auditable, both matter 💯
English

"When we talk about being fully onchain and transparent, we mean it." - @borntobry with @MessariCrypto
On Decibel, everything is onchain, from order books to the matching engine.
Every trade, every transaction, is fully visible and verifiable for the user to see.

@diamante_io Quietly, Instantly, Permanently, that sequence is what makes this different from every other security threat blockchain has ever faced, I mean despite the big hacks we have seen, it's just like that tbh
English

Quantum computing doesn’t hack systems.
It makes their security irrelevant.
Most people imagine cyberattacks as breaches. Forced entry. Exploits.
Quantum is different.
It doesn’t need to break into your wallet. It doesn’t need to bypass security. It simply changes the math that security is built on.
When that happens, what was once considered “unbreakable” becomes readable.
Quietly. Instantly. Permanently.
This is why quantum matters. Not because it creates new attacks, but because it invalidates existing defenses.
Diamante was built with that shift in mind. Post-quantum security from genesis, designed so your assets don’t rely on assumptions that can expire.
Because the future won’t break your security.
It will outgrow it.

English

@diamante_io The gap between when a risk becomes real and when it becomes visible is exactly where @diamante_io was built to operate

English

@diamante_io I mean the consensus requirement alone should terrify anyone betting on a legacy chain upgrading in time
English

In most industries, being late costs opportunity.
In blockchain, it could cost everything.
Security upgrades aren’t instant.
They require coordination, consensus, migration, and time.
And time is exactly what quantum removes from the equation.
Diamante eliminates that risk entirely by starting where others are trying to get to.
Because in a race against technological progress, late isn’t just inconvenient, it’s dangerous.

English

@diamante_io The entire history of infrastructure security is a graveyard of systems that looked completely fine until the specific condition they were never built for finally showed up aka QUANTUM
GIF
English

@diamante_io The coordination problem is what people underestimate BTC has been trying to agree on relatively simple upgrades for years. Now imagine that same process running against a quantum timeline that does not wait for mailing list debates to resolve 🤯🤯
English

The part people miss is that the encryption protecting your wallet right now was never designed to be permanently unbreakable. It was designed to be impractical to break at current computing speeds. Quantum does not find a vulnerability. It just removes the impracticality. That is a completely different problem requiring a completely different architecture and @diamante_io is one of the very few projects that understood that distinction before building.
English

Most systems aren’t built to be unbreakable.
They’re built to be “hard enough” to break.
That works… until it doesn’t.
For decades, encryption has relied on one idea: that breaking it would take too long to matter.
Quantum computing changes that equation completely.
What once took thousands of years could eventually take minutes.
Diamante isn’t built on “secure enough.”
It’s built on the assumption that technology will catch up, and that security needs to outlast it.

@multibank_io Silly anolodgy but the gold token in that hand has been through more regulatory frameworks than most exchanges have employees lol 5 continents worth of compliance and it fits in one palm
English

@multibank_io Interesting that the exchanges offering similar numbers are the ones nobody can find in two years.
The ones still here in two years are the ones that were regulated before they made the offer

@multibank_io Interesting that the exchanges built on compliance and institutional infrastructure were quietly right about the direction this was heading while everyone else was debating whether it was real

English

@ChainEconomist1 @Aptos Imo selective disclosure via view keys is actually the most interesting part, institutions can stay compliant without exposing everything by default, which represents an operational requirement for serious finance and Aptos just made it native 👏👏👏
English

@Aptos Payroll on-chain has been a non starter because nobody wants salaries visible on a block explorer. confidential APT removes that blocker without removing accountability. The use cases that open up from that are actually pretty significant, just think about it...
