Azuki’s official event is confirmed for July 5th 2025. Los Angeles. During Anime Expo. But many web3 brands throw events? Why is this one special? Why is it all over the TL? Only 3 official events since inception, yet @Azuki is everywhere globally, all year. How / Why? Read ↓ ---------------------------------- It's no secret: The number one PMF for NFTs and crypto is events, airdrops and networking. Everyone loves it and that's why it will be forever part of the playbook. 99% of events? A few drinks. Some LED lights. A DJ you forget the next day. It happens. It fades. We move on. It’s that 1% of events that actually shape the lore and culture and this is what makes an official Azuki event so special. Azuki has consistently created moments that have become part of NFT lore and culture.. ---------------------------------- There have only been three official Azuki events in 2022 (LA), 2022 (NYC) and 2023 (NYC). Yet, Azuki centric events and community activations happen all year long. From Tokyo to NYC. Singapore to Taiwan. Thailand to India. Paris to LA. Garden Tours. Panels. Meetups. Collaborations. Cultural collisions. Like clockwork. So what’s the secret? One word: COMMUNITY We throw this word around with haste in the Garden because it actually means something in the Azuki culture. Read on.. Azuki has 100+ sub-communities worldwide. These people aren’t just passive holders. They’re cultural architects, collectors, designers, storytellers, artists, cosplayers and builders. People who don’t just support the Azuki universe, they expand it. No roadmap told them to do so. No team mandate. No airdrop. Just vibes and lore coupled with shared belief, long standing friendships and initiative. Suffice to say, this isn’t your regular NFT community. This is what authentic holder driven culture looks like.. ---------------------------------- While most projects try hard to manufacture hype, Azuki has grown its culture organically, authentically and most importantly with scalability in mind. From the garden up. No VCs. Just high conviction holders and supporters. The Azuki team doesn’t put out official events every year like VC funded web3 projects do because it’s literally not scalable. That being said, the team has preserved and elevated the culture by empowering community events around the globe in creative ways: Garden tour: An initiative where holders can mint garden passport stamps to directly support community events around the globe. Buy Garden Local: An initiative which gives people access to community made products at every Azuki community event. Azuki always keeping the community firs is the reason why holders makes it a point to initiate multiple Azuki community events and activations every year in their areas. So, when an official Azuki event is announced. it means something. Because the bar for IRL events isn’t just sky high. It’s absolute PEAK which is consistently set by the community, and it keeps rising. ---------------------------------- Now, Let’s talk legacy and how official Azuki events have historically meant for the broader crypto NFT culture.. March 2022: The Garden Party in Los Angeles featured performances by Wiz Khalifa and Tokimonsta. It introduced a first of its kind "Check your wallet" live airdrop moment. Remember? June 2022: During NFT NYC 2022, Azuki created a two-day immersive buildout of "The Alley", with performances by Lupe Fiasco and Zhu. June 2023: Follow The Rabbit event in Las Vegas and featured performances by Kenny Beats and community members, Juuku and SireDontPlay. Followed by the Elementals drop. The list goes on.. Every Azuki event, official or community led, is more than just an event, it literally injects max dopamine into your veins. ---------------------------------- And now on July 5th, 2025. Los Angeles. I am personally very excited. But why is this event so much bigger and special? The event strategically planned during Anime Expo, where Azuki is set to have a major presence this year. Makes sense because this is literally THE target market. Anime expo is the cornerstone event for anime enthusiasts worldwide. Some context: In 2024, Anime Expo saw 400,000+ attendees from 64 countries, generating an estimated economic impact of over $100 Million for LA. ---------------------------------- Now picture an all out Azuki, $anime and Anime​.com takeover during this time.
