Stablecoin payments become most powerful when they start feeling ordinary. But daily usage does not scale on settlement alone. It scales on identity, permissions, device trust, and clear execution boundaries. The next payment rail will be defined not just by moving value, but by making that movement safe enough to become routine.
WalletConnect@WalletConnect

With WalletConnect Pay, crypto users can spend their stablecoins easily and daily. And business owners can accept stablecoin payments in a compliant way with a single integration.

AI agents won’t scale on top of fragmented keys, undefined permissions, and wallet logic that was never designed for machine-driven execution. Standards matter. But so does the trusted entry layer that defines who can act, what they can access, and how risk is contained. As agents become users, identity and authorization become infrastructure.
MoonPay 🟣@moonpay

in case it hasn’t been clear, we’re extremely bullish on AI, Agents, and Crypto here at MoonPay OWS is the start of our “Big Week” but it’s far from the end… more news coming on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!

The real signal is not that a payments giant is using generative AI. It is that transaction data is becoming a strategic layer for predicting risk, intent, and capital movement. When intelligence moves closer to the payment rail, the next frontier is not just better commerce. It is smarter financial infrastructure.

Machine payments will only scale if machines can be identified, scoped, and held to verifiable rules. Payment rails matter. But in agent economies, identity, authorization, and auditability are what turn transactions into trusted infrastructure.

As onchain payments move from crypto-native users to wallets, neobanks, and real-world checkout flows, the bottleneck changes. Not access to capital. Access you can trust. Identity, permissions, and secure execution are what make URL-to-IRL payments actually work.
Privy@privy_io

Privy is excited to support WalletConnect Pay as it expands across a growing ecosystem of wallets. From embedded wallets to neobanks and beyond, this is a step toward making onchain payments more accessible — from URL to IRL.

Per-request payments are a real unlock for the agent economy. But once software can transact natively, the question stops being just how value moves. It becomes who is authorized to act, under what rules, and with what audit trail. Agent payments need identity infrastructure as much as payment infrastructure.
Quicknode@Quicknode

Quicknode is the first node provider to support @circle Nanopayments via x402. Batched nanopayments with up to 6 decimals of precision. Fast settlement. Live on @base Sepolia, @0xPolygon Amoy, and @Arc Testnet. AI agents can pay per request at a fraction of the cost.

AI payments are becoming a real infrastructure race. But enabling agents to pay is only half the stack. The harder layer is identity, authorization, limits, and auditability around every action. Payments rails make agent commerce possible. Trusted execution makes it scalable. #AIAgents #AIInfrastructure #DePIN #Web3
AEON.XYZ@AEON_Community

March 2026 was the month a clear pattern in AI payments emerged. Circle, Visa, Stripe, Mastercard, Google, MoonPay, Coinbase—all racing to solve the same problem: how AI agents pay. AEON has been in this from day one. The protocols like x402 and ERC-8004 are integrated. The merchant network with 50M+ merchants exists. The volume is real. This is the track. This is where we play 👇

Subscriptions are becoming internet-native. The next bottleneck is not payments alone, but identity, permissions, and trusted execution. When users and agents can both subscribe, pay, and act continuously, the real infrastructure question becomes who is authorized to do what, under which rules, and with what audit trail. That is where the next trust layer gets built.
superfluid.eth@Superfluid_HQ

hi @CoinbaseDev 👋 x402-superfluid is an open, neutral standard for internet-native subscriptions. It extends x402 with continuous payments to the internet natively. An end-to-end subscription infrastructure that brings equity between creators and consumers, regardless of whether they are human or AI agents. More here: x402.superfluid.org

Human verification is becoming a core primitive for the agent economy. But verification alone is not enough. Agents also need a trusted entry point for identity, permissions, signing, and controlled execution. As AI agents move into real transactions, the stack will be defined not just by who is human, but by who can act with verifiable authority. @worldnetwork is pushing an important piece of that shift.
World@worldnetwork

As millions of agents start to come online, the internet needs to distinguish bot armies from the agents acting on behalf of humans. Introducing AgentKit, the human layer for agentic automation. Built on World ID, the AgentKit beta unlocks human-verified automation, a new primitive for the agent economy.

Machine payments do not fail because rails are missing. They fail because autonomy without identity becomes risk. As agents begin to transact across chains, the real infrastructure question is not connectivity. It is who gets to act, under what permissions, and with what trust boundary.
Coinbase Developer Platform🛡️@CoinbaseDev

Our vision for x402 is an open, internet-native payment standard where value moves as seamlessly as information. Whether you’re building on @base, @solana, or now @0xPolygon, CDP’s Facilitator and broader product suite are ready to support your use case.

AI agents do not break at the model layer first. They break at the trust layer — identity, permissions, and accountability. Before the agent economy scales, those rails have to become native to execution.
ChainGPT@Chain_GPT

Everyone’s building AI agents. No one’s solving what they actually need to operate. Identity. Payments. Accountability. That’s the missing layer. @AIVM_Network is being built as the trust + settlement layer for the agent economy.

Authentication is becoming infrastructure. In an AI-native internet, the real challenge is no longer just logging in. It is making identity, consent, and authorization verifiable across apps, agents, and devices. What wins next is trusted access, not another convenience layer.
idOS@idOS_network

Authentication needs to evolve in the age of AI. Passwords & seed phrases → insecure/easy to lose Social logins → convenient, but centralized honeypots Passkeys → limited within device ecosystems idOS FaceSign is next. Convenience without sacrificing privacy or security.

AI agents do not become trustworthy just because they become autonomous. The stack starts to mature when execution runs in isolation, access is constrained by design, and actions map back to clear permissions. Infra is improving fast. Trusted access is becoming the real bottleneck.
Aethir@AethirCloud

Sunsetting a system cleanly is part of infrastructure design. Clear timelines, frozen state, recoverable funds, and minimal user ambiguity are not just operational details. They are what security looks like when real assets and real users are involved. The next phase of onchain infrastructure will be judged as much by exit discipline as by scale.
ZKsync@zksync

📌 On May 4, ZKsync Lite will be fully deprecated. This is a planned, orderly sunset for a system that has served its purpose and does not affect any other ZKsync systems. Please read below how the shutdown works and how user funds remain safe and recoverable throughout the process. Clarity and capital safety are our priority.
