OFFICIALLY MOVING ON FROM CONTEXTCATCH So today is the last push for my contextcatch , prepare yourself since this will be long haha If you dont know 7 days before I think to myself that contextcatch has been stuck too long with no revenue some people try it for free and i give out great deals to them , iterating based on feedbacks and the product turns out much better but still 0 revenue I thought this cant last forever since im getting lazy and cant move on to other product since i feel guilty not focusing marketing on my contextcatch Thats why i set contextcatch a DEAD-line , i gave it 7 days for me to push more my marketing and shouting , if it still didnt get any revenue , i will move on to other SaaS , and just little bit marketing for contextcatch To recap here's what i did : - launching to product hunt , and bunch of other launch platform , and list on trustmrr for free - Changing my ICP from saas who needs help in marketing into some marketing agency or freelancer who are up and running and need new leads from reddit - outreaching on X and reddit for marketing agency - about to use linkedin but i'm halting it since i was still on 9-5 and here's what i learnt : - Targeting saas builder got no result since most of them are starting so they will press so much budget so changed my ICP did it work ? kinda , some people said they're willing to pay if this get them result , but no one pay yet , so im just benchmarking based on what their response is - Launching in ProductHunt and other launch platforms , it did not get me that much traffic since i got no audience (duh) , but some people email me promoting their product , so kinda meh too - Outreaching in X is horrible to me , didnt even get reply even one of them and X somehow is very hard for me to find people who is complaining about their problem - Outreaching in Reddit is the best so far , since i use contextcatch myself , so i can engage in comment talking about the topic and also outreach them , i can confidently said around 50% replied with good response and some of them lead to long conversation , feedbacks , trials and stuff , but still no result . And most of all if it's bad they're gonna roast u Whats the Conculsion ? - After outreaching i find a lot of people doesnt want to pay wallet for this , since i think my tool only helps if the user need A LOT OF VOLUME from reddit post that it needs automation - and another one is this tool maybe pretty easy to replicate or easy to make a mini version of it , so i can imagine someone spin up a claude agent to do this manually , not even making a saas just ask claude to find some reddit post or comments What I Plan to do in the future ? - OUTREACH FIRST in Reddit ! Since i also had contextcatch i can talk to customer about an idea i had , and maybe spin up a landing page to show a video of how it works - GIVE DEADLINE to everything otherwise my lazy ass will get complacent and everything is stuck , luckily for contextcatch i got someone in reddit that humbled me and hence this deadline - My TIMELINE 1 week to create landing page & outreaching in reddit or X , 2 week for building and then 3 weeks for marketing so in theory if in 6 weeks i got no revenue , i will move on Here is some goodbye gift to contextcatch : - Paid listing in TrustMRR ! Honestly im not aiming to sell , im just aiming to drive eyeballs not really expecting someone to buy ( hence cheapest one for 29$ ) - tiktok creator marketplace : i invite a US influencer that talks about reddit and offer 100$ ( it was their base offer too ) hopefully got accepted and see how it goes I know these both are low compared to to some but its my budget for now haha Thats all folk thankyou if you read it till here , will pin this for reminder for myself and hopefully for everyone too

if there's one mistake i keep making it's assuming people who said "looks great, keep me posted!" actually wanted to be kept posted - turns out they were just being polite the whole time lmao

if you're building your first saas while still at a 9-5, just do stuff: • ship something small • post the ugly version • dm 5 strangers a week • run a $5 ad and see what happens • pick one channel and go deep • ask reddit before assuming • build in public even when nothing's working random experiments now will probably turn into actual traction later. no clue when, but honestly that's the fun part

advice for people in sales: if your company is doing below $50K MRR forget websites, SEO, ads, marketing. all of it. talk to people. setup atleast 5 calls a day. grind. you're welcome. gg.

OpenAI didn’t just acquire a startup. They acquired the muscle memory of 10 million Python developers. Astral, the team behind uv, Ruff, and ty is now inside Codex. The default toolchain of Python developers. Let that sink in. This isn’t another “AI writes code” update. This is AI owning the entire development loop. → Plan the change → Spin up environments with uv → Type-check with ty → Lint with Ruff → Ship All… without breaking flow. And the smartest part? They’re keeping everything open-source

I wish more Cybersecurity hiring managers are open to recruiting entry level talent. Every professional in the field today started somewhere. Creating opportunities at the beginning is how we build the next generation of professionals ✨

Update: it's working so far. It's only been a week since I started sharing publicly about the SaaS I joined as a co-founder. and the growth is already visible: +20%. I am bullish about our tool. But mostly about our team. He is the guy I am not. I am the guy he is not. But somehow we get along and are super productive together. Now working hard on the product. It's already good. But we want it to be perfect.

$66,062 MRR. It really feels like 2020-2021 in SaaS, growing that fast. This week, I am going to focus on a customer support agent. - Customers come to Postiz Discord and connect using OAuth2 for identification. - Posting a problem - it scans the Postiz repository - Write what the problem was, or open a PR if needed - Claude captures the PR and solves it

One skill every SaaS founder needs is… The art of storytelling. Humans are emotional creatures. We first buy with emotions… Before we justify with logic. A good story sits in the thick of this. If you can build and tell a good story around your app, You win! What story are you telling your audience?

how to actually get eyes on your saas without feeling cringe: - post before it's ready - show the ugly wip screenshots - ask dumb questions in public - reply to people in your niche (genuinely) - share what flopped, not just wins - let the process be the content honestly no clue if it'll work but it's what i'm trying rn

With where AI is going right now You need way less resources to build stuff like apps and CRMs. What you do need more than ever is DISTRIBUTION Every software guy is obsessed about having the perfect product. But it does not matter how good your product is if you don't have distribution.
