It was such a joy to participate in the Kiwanis Community Parade in St. Helens. I was also able to visit Lifempowered and hear about the good work they do. I am so impressed with the staff and their dedication to serving their clients. lifemp.org/about-us

Join me today as we address comments over the last few weeks about Republicans and Independents denying quorum in the senate. There are people that have genuine objections and they deserve to be addressed. Lets dive into some of those. #orleg #orpol youtube.com/watch?v=o9l9FM…

After a long day working in the Capitol, I celebrated the 60th anniversary of North Plains. Thank you, for the invite and Happy Birthday to Mayor Lenahan! Big thanks to Tillamook Creamery for donating ice cream for all to enjoy. What a great way to end a long work week.

Extremely frustrated about the situation with Sunset Empire Transportation District and deeply concerned for those employed by the district, those who rely on the bus service for work, and our elderly and disabled riders who depend on the service to get to medical appointments.

No matter what one thinks about abortion, I find it incredibly troubling that a ten year old girl could get an abortion without her parents even knowing, let alone consenting. That's what SJR 33 would insert into the Oregon Constitution. Submit your comments!

We need to make sure more housing is available and affordable, but SB 611 will do just the opposite. The Oregonian's editorial board has it right. They called it "the perfect recipe for how to worsen Oregon's housing crisis." oregonlive.com/opinion/2023/0… #orpol #orleg

.@WeberforOregon (R-Tillamook) on HB 2002 - the majority's extreme, anti-parent priority bill: "Let's set this unnecessary, ineffective bill aside and get back to fixing the real problems facing our constituents." #orpol #orleg

Instead of putting forth solutions that would decrease violent crime, SB 348 -1 ties more rope around the hands of law abiding and responsible gun owners. I strongly encourage this body to not make attempts such as this to undermine the judicial process and usurp its authority.

I am here today to urge support of House Bill 3382, a bipartisan, bicameral solution to a major problem that Oregon’s deep draft ports. #orleg youtu.be/sqGmjAVIixs

The HCP that the Department of Forestry is considering, despite intense push-back from residents of rural Northwest Oregon, is a 70 year plan that would cut $1.4 million dollars from law enforcement and justice in Clatsop County alone. youtu.be/v4-cORExrR8

SB 603 would have us handing out $1,000 dollars a month, paid for by the taxpayer. Is this the best and most equitable way to decrease homelessness and increase financial stability permanently? The answer is, of course, NO.
