The Ravens traded for Maxx Crosby despite his recovery from a torn meniscus. Passing a physical depends on the team, and the Ravens were clearly comfortable moving forward with the trade based on where Crosby is in his rehab.

Not taking anything away from him as a player I like him.
He was all used predominantly as a down the field stretcher.
You are paying him in hopes he can be more than that. Big gamble that you need to knock out of the park for your ROI.
Would rather take the chance on a cost controlled rookie WR in a solid class and go sign a cheaper veteran.
