@m_brosnan Brought forward a potential rule change years ago to county convention for prevention of cynical fouling at end of the game, any black card offence in last 5 mins plus injury time is a 21m free, treat it like a breach with new rules, free in front of goal or 2 pt free? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Shane Lowry hadn’t made a PGA Tour Double Bogey in 305 holes. He’s just made 2 back-to-back when leading the Cognizant Classic by 3. Winning is hard man.

Think Joe McCarthy is very likely to get dropped. Two shockers in a row. Sam Prendergast to the bench but maybe not even as he doesn’t cover 12 and 15 the way Crowley does. Furlong, JGP and Kell to start. Backrow still doesn’t work but they’ll stick with it probably.

@SmallerFishGAA Why is there a Sigerson league? Have all the early rounds pre Christmas and play quarter finals on after Christmas, all the universities seem to have state funded 4G top class pitches so that wouldn't be a problem in December and January

No official attendance at the Sigerson that i can find. Looked to be no more than 800 at it. I like the competition and won it in 1999 but with so little public interest in it, how can it be allowed cause so much disruption to the intercounty calendar

@RadioTimes It turned into every other show. The beauty of the Night Manager was it was a mini series with a finale and concluding arcs, now they've turned into every other show, chasing the money for the next series by leaving on a cliffhanger, genuinely disgusted by the ending.

@SmallerFishGAA The one where they were 2 up and turned the ball over inside the 21 and had a 3v1 was diabolical, that was game over if they went for the goal!

The folly of the unlimited advantage rule just now, foul in Armagh half, they work a potential goal chance, mess it up and play brought back 70 meters for a free. This surely is not the idea of the rule. If scorable position, fair enough, but inside the other half of the pitch 🙄

@garrett_mahony @CahairOKane1 The stadium clock was stopped at 69.55 and didn't restart until the ball was kicked, 4 seconds after the whistle blew. Game should have been over

@Wedges87 @CahairOKane1 the TV clock and the Stadium clock were not in sync. the Stadium clock is the clock the refs watch. That point was legit

The reason why Kerry’s winner shouldn’t have stood on Sunday hasn’t been mentioned anywhere. All the whole thing does is highlight the insanity of the hooter. More convinced than ever that it is not, and was never, needed Column ⬇️ irishnews.com/gaa/gaelic-foo…

@whiskennyarcher Seemingly (I wasn’t there and haven’t had it verified yet) the clock in the ground was different to the clock on Tv (has happened before numerous times) easy to be a few seconds out across the course of a game, should be synced - wonder is it a money issue

Hands. 🙌 from Tomas Kennedy to fetch that high ball, keep control of it, and flick it over the bar within miliseconds. Outrageous. Did the same for his goal in the first-half. No wonder Kerry forwards are obsessed with their 'handling' 🙌 x.com/SportTG4/statu…

@SmallerFishGAA The clock is meant to start when the referee blows the whistle as this signals play has begun, not when the ball is kicked. O'Shea took 4 seconds to take the free after the whistle blew, another 6 seconds to go over. Someone fucked up somewhere.

Very messy end to the Kerry game When the free was blown there was 7 secs left but clock on TV continued on counting 5 more secs. From when SOS kicked to Kennedy scoring i counted 6 secs. If the referee stopped his watch when he blew the foul then he was right. The hooter is more trouble than it's worth

@KarolDillon8 Hand up by Cawley for a free against Roscommon and the Kerry player screening him. Have no issue with the screen, but where is the Roscommon player to go. He was making up for gifting Roscommon a 2 pt free a minute previous and was looking to give any free

Clifford with the 2 pointer. However, Seanie always handpasses with the appropriate hand. Twice with his left in this passage, despite being right hand dominant for the hand pass. People will say it's no big deal but the data shows otherwise. Basketball hugely benefitted him.

Normally you've to wade through and block all the shite to get at the stuff you want. Seemingly now, they've started hiding the accounts you follow to make sure you have no choice but to see the stuff they want you to see. GAA clubs and counties need to get away from here.

Normally the weekends are the reprieve from the endless US politics/race bait/hard right nationalism that gets fed down your throat on here, but tonight is the first time that on a busy GAA day, my feed (following, For You is a no go area at all times!) had feck all scores.

The way things are trending, if and when Paul Skenes becomes a free agent (assuming he isn't dealt and extended at some point before then), can we safely assume he'll field at least one offer that'll guarantee him somewhere between $80-100 million a year? Is that a crazy thought?
