@tommyuto @AlanBiggs1 @shabbasgal No he left because he had no communication from the Bord consortium who didn’t even bother to speak with him or Pedersen. He then had a really good offer on the table (probably his last big deal at his age) to potentially play in the Premier League. Not a hard decision.

Barry Bannan back to #SWFC? Maybe some things are just meant to be. Worth pointing out that when BB left, it was primarily because (from my sources) he had little faith in the then preferred bidders. Had Arise been in situ, I’m sure he’d have stayed.

How did Sheffield Wednesday avoid a 15-point deduction? 🔹 Background 🔹 Nick De Marco, of course 🔹 EFL agreement 🔹 Offers for Chansiri's debt outright refused, ignored, not taken in good faith 🔹 How 25p was "reached" 🔹 Deadline missed (!) 👇 bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

⏰ Tomorrow. 7am. @MattJohno1989 spoke with @KieranMaguire to discuss the takeover from a financial perspective. He also gives his 'Top 5 Worst Financial Decisions' from the previous regime. We've loved having Kieran on, but hopefully he's not back on for a while! @wtidpod" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@wtidpod

Michael Morrison has been a fantastic cultural architect almost everywhere he's been, and left each club he's been at for more than a season in a better place. Cambridge - midtable to 2nd in the Conference Leicester - League One title in his first season Charlton - League One title in his first season Birmingham - key player in top 10 side, contributing to their best seasons under that ownership Reading - similarly, part of one of the better Royals sides under a bad ownership regime Cambridge again - helped them stay up twice and was a highly influential figure behind promotion this year It's not a coincidence. He might be more physically limited at 38, but a lot of his best qualities like organisation, reading of the game and winning headers, you don't lose much of really. I think for clubs in League Two that need a complete reset, he would be a great person to have in the building for the first day of pre-season just to set standards and influence culture. Presuming he's keen to stay down south - east and centralish perhaps - I think he'd be a great pick for Northampton or Gillingham. Gareth Ainsworth has done his best work when he has players who represent his mentality on the pitch and in the dressing room (and perhaps the inverse of that can be true as well), so I would expect his first signings of the summer to be leaders who set the tone. Like the idea of Morro in the middle of a back-three with quick, strong 1v1 defenders either side of him, or possibly in a back-four but next to a right-back with good positional, recovery and 1v1 attributes.

@AlexJPMiller You could replace one four letter word in that last sentence for a person and it would be even more accurate.

Would stress; not sure on possible next steps, any recourse etc. But certainly a bizarre twist. SWFC is wall to wall madness at every turn. #SWFC🦉

🚨EXC: Gather Dejphon Chansiri missed a deadline on an offer that could have seen him receive future ££ out of SWFC.. by just a few minutes. Offer made in light of EFL 'min div' rule, miss means he *could* walk away with nothing. More details👇 thestar.co.uk/sport/football… #SWFC🦉

A new beginning at #SWFC calls for a new anthem! ⚽🎶 Arise Capital Partners’ Owls takeover, led by @storchyowl, made for a great day on Saturday. I’ve put together a special welcome capturing the magic of a club reborn. I hope the fans, David, and his team enjoy this! 💙🦉

@swfcBW @benswfc15 Everyone is welcome to their opinion. It was just a bit of fun. Can’t believe how much it has blown up. Even had a couple of Barnsley fans commenting on it!! I thanked them for their feedback & pointed out that I particularly like the last few seconds of the video they shared!

@WednesdayRob Rob I absolutely love the video and the tune is catchy. I can't help but sing along to it. I'm still buzzing from Saturday good riddance to bad rubbish. Yay no points deduction and no wage cap for next season. Life is good right now as a Wednesdayite onwards and upwards 💙🦉
