The IC will be giving a keynote presentation at ETH Denver and hosting bounties.

Another highly requested and exciting feature for the IC that is under development: Websockets Allowing servers to send messages to the browser at will, and reduce frictions. Gateway machine will talk to the IC while preserving security. Planed for a initial release in march.

Presentation by Juno. A juno.build dapp to enable developers to build apps with front end tools. A developer starts with a satellite. A satellite contains pre-existing tools so developers can build with Javascript.

Node Provider Remuneration model will be put up for vote. New node provider rewards will be adjusted based on new factors such as Gen 2 hardware. New hardware has numerous upgrades. New node providers current being onboarded. Today there are 627 nodes.

The DGastonia app supports transfers of ckBTC to BTC. The NNS frontend will make sending and receiving ckBTC seamless. Over 11k ckBTC transactions have been made so far. Each transaction costs only around $0.02 cents and is instant, compared to over $1 per transaction with BTC
