Last night we had chicken burgers with grilled onions and peppers on a brioche bun. They were fantastic.

Stromboli? Strombolis? What is the plural of stromboli? Who cares, they were darn good.

Almost eggs Benedict. Leftover biscuit instead of English muffins. Fried eggs instead of poached. Canadian Bacon and leftover hollandaise sauce. Close enough for me.

I whipped up some biscuits and gravy for breakfast this morning.

We had an easy dinner last night. Store bought gnocchi and grilled chicken in pesto that I had in the freezer. My kids really like this dish.

My parents came over for dinner tonight. We had French Dip sandwiches with mashed potatoes.

We had chicken and rice stuffed bell peppers for dinner. This is one of my wife's favorite meals.

@Smooth_0n3 I wish I could add mushrooms, but I am the only one in my family who likes them.

@WeeknightDinner I love a good pot roast mushrooms celery carrots potatoes yum..

I am working on improving my pot roast game. It is not perfect yet, but getting close.

We celebrated our anniversary at home this year. It was just as good as a steak house without the price.

We had some pretty basic burrito bowls for dinner. There were fewer vegetables in the fridge than I thought.

This was a very homemade meal. It is a homemade bratwurst burger on a homemade pretzel bun with homemade sauerkraut and homemade mustard. It was fantastic.

I made pretzel buns to use for tonight's dinner.

For lunch I made myself a piece of cod with caper butter and some spinach with shallots. It was a nice break from my usual routine.

We had an easy dinner tonight. Homemade ravioli (from the freezer) and meat sauce. The kids love eating pasta that they helped make.
