@RealBristolBoy Exactly this. Positive part of me thinks they have the SD in the door and waiting for contractual issues before announcing, the negative worries I'm giving certain people too much credit as they have made a hash of things over and over again.

It's about getting it right, Ryan, not done quickly however it's three months before the start of next season in three days time & there's an awful lot to do including the retained list so I hope the Board have everything in place or a plan for that to happen. At the moment the silence is deafening #BristolCity

That's that then. For what it's worth, not sure he was ever in the plan, felt very agent talky to rush Burnley into a decision, no brainer for him really, parachute payments and squad that will compete at the top with current squad anyway.
