I’m sorry I’m still totally convinced that the referee or VAR should have 100% ruled out Atletico Madrid goal which levelled the tie & killed the momentum @xavisimons was fouled pure & simple. Would it have made a difference maybe yes maybe no but I’m fed up being on the wrong side of these decisions.Thoughts ? #COYS 🤍💙

Anyone who has followed me long enough will know how long I’ve gone on about Callum Olusesi our U-21 captain to be given his chance at 19 this M/F ,A/M Premier League debut was way overdue. His stats from the 74th minute • 8/8 accurate passes • 2 passes into the final third • 1/1 accurate long balls • 2 recoveries He showed real confidence, demanded the ball, and performed solidly in tight spaces without any errors that I saw. He actually made his Spurs debut v Hoffenheim in Jan last year. I’m now hoping he gets more chances to show his true talent. #COYS 🤍💙

Tottenham’s few remaining first-team players are both mentally and physically EXHAUSTED. Squad, management and fan morale is at an all-time low. I’d say many of them are currently struggling to pass 70-80%, 20-30% off their absolute best level. EXHAUSTED. Who would put in a better display… a mentally and physically drained Xavi Simons, currently at ~75%, or a fresh Luca Williams-Barnett, currently at 100% and chomping at the bit for an opportunity to impress? And if you say Simons still, which I wouldn’t necessarily argue with. You can’t say there is miles in it, at best Simons edges it. So then the question is, why can’t Williams-Barnett be given at least the odd 30 minutes occasionally? That complete lack of trust in our youngsters is what has frustrated me the most these past 2 seasons. I know you can’t rely on kids at this level, but you can still utilise them in order to keep your main squad fresh, which provides them with opportunities to prove they’re good enough for more game time. Thoughts?
