We cannot wait to make out scarecrows tomorrow. This afternoon in RSR, we loved collaging scarecrow hats, using our cutting skills to cut out scarecrow-themed shapes and completing scarecrow pencil control with extra special care doing the outline✍️✂️ @WellesbourneSch

So many of us enjoyed completing the cvc words with magnetic letters today in RSR. Our adults could not believe how great we are getting at independently sounding out to complete these words and finding the letters 🔡 @WellesbourneSch

Lots of us worked hard practising our number formation skills on our lumi boards in provision this morning in RSR. We are so proud of how hard you are working ✍️🔢 @WellesbourneSch

Brilliant gross motor/ict/science/maths skills in this provision activity this morning, RSR. We worked hard to match the plants to their shadows 🌸🌺🌼🌹 @WellesbourneSch

RSR loved planting our seeds into soil today, as part of our science unit this half term. I wonder what they will grow in to? 🌱💭 @WellesbourneSch

RGG worked with a partner this morning to recreate shape pictures. They had to decide which shape needed to be in which place and decide whether they needed to rotate it or not. @WellesbourneSch

RGG loved decomposing our shapes this morning with partners. We had to turn rectangles into triangles. @WellesbourneSch

Brilliant shape yoga before lunch time to unwind in RSR, Reception. We linked this to our maths and tried to make 2D shapes using our stretching and skills 🔴🔷🔺⭐️ @WellesbourneSch

Working hard in Understanding the World/Science this afternoon in RSR - labelling and discussing parts of a plant and what they do. We then made a flower tangram (linked to our maths today too), completed a flower colour by number and flower pencil control 🌸✍️✂️ @WellesbourneSch

RGG loved learning about pollution and littering in oceans. They learned about the importance of recycling and putting rubbish in the bin. @@WellesbourneSch

RGG loves looking closely and taking apart some plants this week as part of their scientific learning in understanding the world @WellesbourneSch

Fantastic Understanding the World today, RSR. We did lots of activities on how we can discard of our rubbish or recycle things that can be turned into something else to save them harming sea creatures 🐙♻️ @WellesbourneSch
