Wellesley Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024. All WPS buildings will be closed throughout the day and all afternoon and evening activities are also canceled.  Please hunker down and stay safe everyone!

All after-school and evening clubs and activities for WPS are canceled or rescheduled today, including performing arts rehearsals, music lessons & non-varsity practices. Late buses, WCCC after-school programming & building rentals canceled. WMS Winter Jazz Concert moved to 2/7.

Wellesley Public Schools is closed today as we celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day and honor the contributions, resiliency, and voices of Indigenous people. The City of Newton’s Indigenous Peoples Day Ceremonial Celebration will be held from 11am to 5pm today at Albemarle Field.

Note to Sprague and WMS Families: Starting today, Highland Road from Oak Street to Pine Tree Road will be milled and repaved. The Road will be closed through Oct. 11.  Please plan accordingly.

Celebrate walk, ride, and roll to school day this Wednesday 10/4 by ditching your car and walking or biking to school or work! Ideas: Set up a walking school bus; if you live too far from school to walk the entire way, drive partway and walk the last 15 minutes.

We're 1 week from the first day of school! Today we welcomed nearly 40 new members of the WPS professional staff. Their 3-day orientation began today with a welcome breakfast with academic leadership, remarks, introductions, and training sessions at Wellesley High School.
