RDF Reusables Area correction! The #Wellesley RDF Reusables Area will open in early April. It is NOT OPEN NOW - please DO NOT bring in items. Spring 2026 schedules will be posted soon.

Wellesley Fire and Police are on Alden Road with a small fire in a house. There are no injuries and the fire is under control.

Overnight Snow Removal!

WPD on scene with a one vehicle truck rollover Route 9 east at the the Newton line. No injuries.

Cedar St crash has been cleared.

Traffic Alert: WPD on scene with a car into a pole Cedar St near Bethel. Traffic is delayed southbound from Route 9.

Power Outage: Hilltop, Pine Tree and Highland are without power after a plow struck a utility pole. No one was injured and the WMLP is on scene replacing the pole.

Roads continue to be snow covered throughout town at 1130 AM. WPD officers have been responding to various calls for service. This tree just fell into a house on Great Plain Ave at Fieldstone Way. No one was injured.

7AM in Wellesley and the roads are all snow covered throughout town. The Route 9 westbound Dunkin Donuts is open however!

TRAFFIC ALERT: WPD and WFD working a two car crash with injuries on Route 9 prior to Lexington Rd. Left lane is blocked, expect delays until 220 PM on Route 9 west near Weston Road.

Traffic Alert: WFD and WMLP are on Washington St at Rice St investigating a possible problem with a manhole. Traffic is down to one lane and there are delays east and west on Rt 16. Avoid the area.

Police, Fire and EMS on scene at an early education center on William St. Several children were inadvertently exposed to a commercial grade dish cleaner. FD and EMS are evaluating patients and some have already been transported to area hospitals. Wellesley FD will provide updates
