It’s always great to connect with home in Colorado while here in Cincinnati! I announced fellow Cherry Creek HS alum @vangytenbeek’s game with the Baylor Bears in Cincinnati against the Bearcats. Lots of fun to catch up with the Van Guytenbeeks and enjoy a night in the arena.

This is what I remember from growing up in Colorado: snow games at Mile High and John Elway starting at QB for the Broncos from second grade, through college, through my first year in the working world. Elway was incredible.

Everything you’re reading about the great Jim Kelly is 100 percent true: A perfect Bearcats ambassador and as classy a gentleman as you’d ever hope to meet. I always looked forward to seeing him because I’d invariably learn a lot just from watching how well he treated people.

How disappointing. Tony is Cincinnati through and through, from Reading HS to the #Bearcats to the airwaves in the Queen City. He knows this market inside and out and is incredibly skilled at his craft. His high quarterback IQ is very evident. Great opportunities await!

David Montgomery played QB at Mt. Healthy and the offense was heavy on designed runs. Defenders slid off of him. I literally thought he could score on any and every play and it was fun to watch. He wasn’t heavily recruited till Matt Campbell swooped in and got him to Ames.

One of the best men and leaders around. Skip frequently visited the patients at Cincinnati Children’s when he played for the Reds and it was amazing to see the joy he brought them, not only from our in-hospital TV station but also on visits to the floors. He’s fantastic.
