In 1485, Richard III was killed in battle, ushering in the Tudor age in the process. But was a Llandeilo man responsible for this act of regicide? In this exclusive new talk, on Saturday 17 January I will look at the dramatic life and legacy of Dinefwr's own Rhys ap Thomas.

Monday a new episode of Roman Britain - Victoria Paratur will drop, talking a bit about the Roman military machine. Then we will be on to Episode 255 dealing with the challenges of the final decade of the 19th century. Which will likely be the last podcast for 2025.

My goal next year is to join a Dysgu Cymraeg class and really work my way through things. I hate my pronunciation right now. And it makes me worry about trying to say things out loud. Especially for the podcast. I would really really love to do one episode all in Cymraeg one day

My Welsh journey, for those curious. Currently I am relying on Duolingo to give me the basics, it has meant I can read certain words in sentences and parse meaning of general ideas but still a long way to go. (Duolingo is not the answer btw just a start)
