@rte @RTEOne @RTEplayer I am actually furious after watching this programme!!! Totally irresponsible and a total lack of knowledge on the "illness" that is Long Covid. Both the NICE Guidelines in the UK and the WHO Guidelines internationally recognise exercise as detrimental to a patients recovery.

@Dr2NisreenAlwan 24 Months of "Living with Long Covid" = Betablocker medication to control high heart rate and Azithromycin for systemic inflammation and overactive immune system!!! Unable to exercise which i loved to do prior to Covid. Just about managing my workload as a nurse. Now reinfected!

In July 2020 I wrote: Death is not the only thing to count in this pandemic, we must count lives changed. This outcome is still not factored in a policy that’s ironically called ‘live with covid’. Do u personally know someone whose life has changed by #LongCovid? Or is it you?
