@toddle_edu I ask students to write about themselves from the third person; to write an opinion paper on something they disagree with; to try on ideas that are wildly different from their own ideas in seminar discussions. I ❤️art projects that identify perceptual biases, to open us up...!

Heard someone today say, “The kids are going to be so behind when they get back.” But, we recognize that the only thing they’re behind is our own perception of where they should be, right? The content we assign to grade levels isn’t inherent to age. We did that. We can undo it.
