@kumiholuvrs If I see a Steam Deck in public, I’d think that person is cool.
However, here’s a helpful tip: no one really cares. Most people are focused on how they’re being perceived, just like you are, rather than actually seeing you!

I’m seriously considering this red/green Luffy leader deck for One Piece TCG, but the OP17 leaders look really good too 🔥😭

well, here goes all the boxes to bots and scalpers….
MERC Sormil@sormiltcg
Confirmed ✅ @theweeknd has joined in on the OPTCG hype and has obtained a box of OP13 and a box of OP16 👀 Weeknd x One Piece collab soon 👀⁉️

@madamefigarland honestly I saw some of the art on the Kaido deck and it looks really good, I see the vision
English

@Wenenuts unfortunately i traded that card for a bunch of cards i want to run in my op17 kaido deck 💔💔💔
English

@chnlyy @madamefigarland yea I just checked, and the shipping cost as much as the card itself lol!
English

@Wenenuts @madamefigarland yeah it’s a huge red staple it should be on tcg player tho
English

@DuckingLlama Yea I think the hardest party is actually figuring out which deck to play, thank you!
English

@Wenenuts Sign up for pre releases for the new starter decks that are coming out in a week or so, as well as OP17 pre release tournaments. Look up videos on YouTube and find out what playstyle/color you want to play then narrow in on a deck. Start by buying singles so you can play the game
English

@NoVaOnePiece Thanks! Are there any specific OPTCG content creators you recommend?
English

@Wenenuts see a video on the basics and then watch the game being played on youtube. Especially from people who explain things as they go. Download @ maebatsu 's optcg sim. Practice playing before you buy too many cards. focus on getting cards for a pre-op17 leader so it's cheaper.
English

@KairyuTCG Yeah, I’m definitely more interested in building decks for playing than selling them. That sounds cool, man! Thanks a lot!
English

@KairyuTCG You cooked! 🔥
So pre-release and boxes! Do you have any ideas about how much each item should cost? Also, were you ever able to recoup your investment in the boxes, or was it always a loss?
English

@Wenenuts Op17 is a great set to get into the hobby! It’s an anniversary set which are very coveted. I got in at Op13 which is also an anniversary set. It’s a lil different now bc OP is really hyped now so it’s not as easy to get products.
I’d recommend signing up for as many prereleases

@Wenenuts Hey there just making sure you are understanding the original post. If someone takes the time to outline the most expensive base art cards that are difficult for beginners to find or buy saying "Don't proxy them" they probably mean 😉
English

New One Piece TCG players get zero help espcially in CANADA! No casual teaching, no test tools from Bandai. Pay $50 starter or $300 on meta and hope it feels good. Proxies are the only real way to try cards before buying. Gatekeeping them at locals just pushes beginners away!

Here are the Top 5 SEC's, SR's, and R's, that I think you definitely SHOULD NOT BE PROXYING AT LOCALS! Especially not if you are concerned about power creep or rotation
