@xHeraKita @NekoUnix yeah so the thing they're complaining about is taking a vacation mid subathon, not taking vacations at any other time. Don't start a "subathon" if you're gonna disappear in the middle of it?

A big reason being online or a vtuber sucks so much is because of takes like this. Large creators have talked about the pressure of feeling like they're not able to take time off or vacations. That's a horrible awful way to live. Let people do what they want, as long as they're communicating with their communities, who cares?

Is it just me or is this wild: people run a subathon, take money from chat… then vanish for weeks 💀 come back like nothing happened either it’s just over, or they pick it up mid-run?? nah that can’t just be me noticing this

imagine fucking larping the forza series, we have had genuine influential hardcore and punk artists like every time i die, at the drive in, and others for years along with metal since forza horizon 3. Just say you hate black people

The most revealing thing about Minecraft's textures is that nobody is using resource packs to replace them anymore. Back during beta, everyone was using a texture pack because the game was just ugly as hell. But nowadays, people are fine with regular textures. They're good enough

@LKSGTwentyFour @AlevtineOnIce @1_laemie Yes but you're making the assumption that people will go out of their way to search for it on google when there is a fantastic database in the large modloaders these days - the browser version could be better but people will go for what's just a click away like you said earlier

@Wergo20 @AlevtineOnIce @1_laemie People do use alternative launchers like Prism you know? And searching for the texture pack online doesn't have to mean they're downloading it. They could just be browsing and looking through the images to see what they like. The browser version is often a lot better for that.

Searching for the modrinth/CF site, finding the search bar and searching for a texture pack, or just Googling "texture pack *name*" and clicking the first result? Its a one click difference, but still more convenient.

@Wergo20 @AlevtineOnIce @1_laemie Most people still just use google to get to the resource pack/texture pack pages of sites like CF and modrinth, so it wouldn't decrease the number of searches, at least this drastically.

The funniest thing about cash is that it's just a straight up negative. Any savings come from tax fraud and the actual expenses of the logistics of handling the cash easily cost 10-15% of the revenue.

@IcedMeatba3620 You're forgetting that every single bill has to get counted multiple times (at the register - at the end of the night - when reconciling accounts) and all the man hours (labor is expensive!) that goes into that.
