This sucks big time. 6A is broken. Chandler is not a good coach…he is a GREAT Coach. I’m hoping and praying with Jim Deans leadership that we can fix the issues that we currently have. Losing guys like Chandler is not a good look for our 6A conference. ADs got to figure it out. Besides the 4 or 5 schools that have the “top kids”, we need to make decisions that’s best for every kid.

My heart is extremely full. I have stepped down as Head Coach @ Cesar Chavez HS. We have been able to do some pretty special things on the field the past decade but more important to me is the brotherhood and memories I have made with the guys off the field. Love y’all 🙏🏻💜❤️

BREAKING: 2028 wide receiver Makai Nelson (@Makai_N88) is transferring to Basha, sources tell @AZHSFB. Nelson spent the 2025 season with Mountain Pointe but sat the entire season. He was at Chandler his freshman year. The Bears add more depth to their receiving core.

Dante Moore is a great example of a QB who goes somewhere to start right away and struggles and hurts his development. Just my opinion.
