Very concerned about these statements by the IOC at #Paris2024. There are multiple international treaties and national constitutions that specifically refer to #women and their fundamental rights to equality and non-discrimination, so the world has a pretty good idea of what women -and men for that matter- are. Also, how can one assess whether fairness and justice has been reached if we do not know who we are being fair and just to?

Tonight a woman steps into the ring for the Women’s Welterweight boxing final to decide the Gold medal. She fights a boxer with ‘Male Karyotype’, XY chromosomes, a male. Tomorrow another woman fights a male in the Women’s Featherweight final. @IOCmedia has sanctioned male violence against women in the name of sport. Women’s Rights Network stands with all the women failed by the IOC policy that puts inclusion of males above the safety of women. #SaveWomensSport #XX
