Not much wind here with that line of “severe” storms moving through NW MO, but some torrential rain for sure. Recorded well over an inch in under an hour. Flooding is definitely the main issue up in this area today. Stewartsville, MO (Dekalb County)

A complex & uncertain forecast for today complicated by AM storms & conditional on rebuilding instability. If the atmosphere successfully destabilizes, strong to severe storms are possible with damaging winds, heavy rain, tornadoes, & hail possible. Please remain weather aware.

Storm chances back Friday Morning showers/storms look likely, with more possible in the afternoon. Stronger storms could produce strong winds & hail Then the heat takes over Pick a number between 90 & 95 for the high after that and you’ll probably be close #mowx #kswx #kcwx

Storms may be your overnight soundtrack. Showers and storms move in from the north/west tonight into Thursday morning. A few could bring strong wind gusts and small hail. Good news: we’ll take the rain. Next week looks hot and mainly dry. #mowx #kswx #kcwx
