Is Ireland an "ethno state" as Simon Schama claims? Arguably not, as Ireland sets no religious or race barriers - all Irish citizens can become President. But the United Kingdom only allows white anglo-saxon British protestants to become king, so the UK is an ethno state.

R.I.P. to Chuck Norris. He was an accomplished martial artist who successfully transitioned into b-list action movie stardom by making movies for the legendary Cannon studios. I got into his work during covid and it was a real tonic during a rough time.
