HUDSON’S BAY COMPANY ARTWORK The artwork collection from Canada’s now defunct Hudson’s Bay Company are being auctioned off today. Heffels is auctioning them here: heffel.com 27 historic paintings owned by the now shuttered, 355-year-old department store will be scattered to the highest bidders via auction beginning at 3pm today. Haven't watched any NBA playoffs since Raptors lost their play in game. Just watched the last two minutes of Heat-Knicks game 6, and now all in for Miami winning the championship.

@twitandrewking Added bonus, there used to be a comic shop in the basement of Westgate. Every visit to that mall was a great two for one (or more if you were catching a movie upstairs).

“Toy City” Like some kind of Shangri-La to a an 80s kid from a small town, Toy City blew my mind when I first saw it at WESTGATE Mall. With its bright colours, cartoon panda mascot & bubbly lettering it was exciting to roam its huge aisles of toys. Part of Consumers Distributing, they built a chain of these toy superstores that lasted until the 90s. #StoresNoMore
