BREAKING NEWS: Sophomore Nico Ward is a WPIAL medalist! He finishes in 3rd place with a final score of even par between the first round and the finals to take home bronze! Nico is one of 14 WPIAL qualifiers headed to Penn State on October 20 to compete in states! #WeAreWestA

WPIAL Individual Championship is complete and we are very proud of our three that made it. They battled Butler Country Club with everything they had. In the end, Levi Vaughn and Ethan Bobonski fell short of moving on to states. Nico Ward was able to bring home 3rd!🥉 @WestASports

We are complete at Moon Golf Club. Our boys were able to send four players through to the WPIAL Individual Semifinals! Congratulations to them as we ready for our individual and team post season run! @WestASports

We have done it! Tonight’s win at Montour Heights CC against Moon clinches a playoff birth! Nico Ward toughs out a 36 (E). Followed closely by Bobonski 38, Vaughn 40, Dove 40, Slomski 45. Focus now shifts to the individual tournament - but our team spot is secured! @WestASports

Playing catch up on match results. We lost a tough one to South Fayette on Monday. Nico Ward shot 37 (+1). Bobonski 39, Dove 40, Slomski 43, Vaughn 43. Didn’t have our best stuff… and had to win at CV and Moon to snag a playoff spot Final: WA 202 SF 190 @WestASports

Our boys stayed alive in the team playoff hunt yesterday with a big win over CV at beautiful Nevillewood CC. Levi Vaughn went low with a 34 (-2). Ward 37 and Bobonski 38 combined for lowest pairing on the day. Rounding out the scoring were Slomski 45 and Dove 49. @WestASports

BACK 2 BACK! West Allegheny Golf has won the 2025 MAC Golf Championship! All Sophomores - Nico Ward & Levi Vaughn shoot 69 (-3) to tie 3 others for medalist and Ethan Bobonski shoots 72 (E) to finish 8th. Our guys shot 210 and won the title by 8 strokes! 🥇@WestASports
