To celebrate Bayard Rustin Day, students at RHS put their knowledge to the test with a trivia challenge about Bayard Rustin! The 2 classes with the most correct answers were surprised with a classroom celebration! 🎉 Congrats to Ms. Crombie’s & Mr. DeWitt’s 8th period classes👏

EHS hosted its 6th Annual Coding Contest at WCU 💻Students from high schools across the region put their programming skills to the test - solving a series of complex programming problems. A big shoutout to the dedicated EHS students & staff who helped organize and run the event!

Students at SMS recently explored the life and artwork of Horace Pippin thanks to a traveling trunk from the Chester County History Center. They learned about Pippin’s service in World War I, his artistic process, and his paintings of important historical moments!

EXE's 4th and 5th graders celebrated National Reading Month with a special guest read-aloud! 📚 Representatives from the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission visited classrooms to read Our Class Is a Family and talk about the importance of fairness, respect, and belonging ✨

🏀 The gym was packed at Peirce Middle School for the annual Student vs. Staff Basketball Game! All proceeds from the event support the West Chester Food Cupboard, making the afternoon of friendly competition and school spirit even more meaningful 👏💙

Creativity was in full force at EHS thanks to Ms. Brien’s Pre-K class & Ms. Leggett’s Sculpture 1 class! 🎨✨ The little Vikings dreamed up imaginative monster drawings & students in Sculpture 1 brought those ideas to life - transforming 2D sketches into incredible 3D artworks!

The WCASD Honors Band students have been working diligently over the past 8 weeks preparing for their big concert debut, and they are so excited to finally share their music! These talented young musicians take the stage tomorrow, March 11th at 7:00 PM at Rustin High School 👏

The Harlem Wizards returned to WCASD for another fun night on the court! 🏀 Thanks to our incredible WCASD community, the event raised more than $30,000 for the West Chester Area Education Foundation, supporting innovative programs and opportunities for students and teachers!
